Video Marketing for Doctors
In this video, I’m going to talk to you about the four types of video content that every doctor should be producing to make themselves stand out from the crowd. The relationship between a patient and a doctor is sacred, so whenever someone is looking for a doctor, a lot of times they turn to the internet and when they turn to the internet they’re going to be confronted with tons of options, and if a person has the option of deciding between two doctors in their area, one that has a regular website with reviews – and they both have good reviews – but one doctor has videos on their website that explain procedures, that talks about what they could expect when they enter their office, or maybe talks about their credentials and really helps you to make that connection with the doctor, the person is probably going to choose the doctor with the video.
FAQ Videos
Now, I’m sure that as a doctor you receive tons of questions every single week, but I’m also sure that there are frequently asked questions that you’re asked more than any other. With our FAQ videos, we’ll identify ten or so questions that are FAQ questions for your practice and we’ll create ten separate videos. We’re not going to go out to your location ten separate times, but instead we’ll sit down with you for about an hour or two and we’ll ask you those 10 questions on camera, but we’ll then edit ten separate videos from that content. This is really powerful for two reasons: number one, it allows you to have video content on your website answering all of these questions. It also allows you to have ten separate videos that you’re now able to distribute on social media, but you’re not going to distribute on social media all in one day. You want to be able to spread it out over a course of maybe a month or two. This gives you content to share on social media for several weeks at a time. So if you’re looking for a way to really push content and answer questions, FAQ videos are the way to go!
“About our Practice” Video
So one of the main videos that every single doctor should have on their website is a “welcome to our practice” video. In this type of video, we’ll interview you and maybe your staff members, and we’ll also get some behind-the-scenes shots of you interacting with with your staff and patients. We’ll then interview you about your credentials so people get a good general idea of what your practice does and what makes you unique in comparison to other doctors in the area.
Procedure Video
Another really great way to showcase your practice and your abilities is with a procedure video. Procedure videos help explain what a patient can expect from a procedure, whether it be what to do before or after a procedure, what recovery time might look like, so this is really an excellent way to identify yourself as the expert in that that field and in that procedure.
Testimonial Video
Everyone understands just how powerful a testimonial is. So with our testimonial videos, we’ll talk to maybe four or five of your past patients and we’ll talk to them about what their experience was with you as a doctor and what their experience was with your staff or even with a procedure they may have had at your at your practice. This really helps to put a potential patient at ease about coming in because they see and they understand that you have a good reputation and there are people too that are willing to go on camera to talk about their experience with you as a doctor.
